With a revenue increase of SEK 900 million in 2022–2023, Sunpine is growing more than twice as much as the second-place company on the list.

Sunpine has developed a patented process for extracting alpha-Pinene from the residual tall oil product. The technology enables more sustainable and cost-effective production of alpha-Pinene, which is used in the production of broad-spectrum antibiotics, among other things. Sunpine expects to be able to produce 1,000-1,300 tons of alpha-Pinene annually.
